On April 17th, 1985, Spellwade, which became Dunford Elemech, and then Daemon Fire Systems, and finally Daemon Fire and Security, was incorporated, making today our 40th birthday!

In a world where companies come and go, we’re thrilled to have reached this milestone, 40 years of service to our customers and clients – many of whom have been retained for a significant period of our years of trading.

Of course, things have changed – starting with Fire Alarms, we soon embraced Security Systems, Fire Suppression, Leak Detection, Gas Detection, Extinguishers, Signage, PAVA, Refuge and Alarm Systems – providing a one stop shop with Life Safety and Security solutions.

From Factories, to accommodation, to distribution, test facilities, hotels, football stadiums – you know it – we’ve done it!

Our transition over the years from 2 houses knocked through together (without any parking!), to our purpose-built head office, and our northern and southern engineering hubs, have followed our expansion in our mission to support our customers.

The customer partnerships we’ve built have sustained our growth, and supplier and manufacturer partnerships with Xtralis, Notifier by Honeywell, Siemens, Hochiki Europe, Apollo Fire Detectors, Kentec Electronics, Texecom Ltd., TDSi and Oprema Ltd (to name a few) have been the foundation on which our continued success are built.

We’d like to thank everyone that’s been a part of our journey, the core team, the fantastic additions gathered from the creation of Daemon Fire and Security group, our supply partners, and most especially our customers.
